This position will be based in Panjang Indonesia.

The role involves coordinating with TPK and Pelindo Panjang for vessel registration, obtaining necessary permissions, and ensuring advanced preparation of documents for vessel clearance. Responsibilities also include visiting relevant authorities' offices, arranging boat services for quarantine checks, and submitting accurate cargo discharge and loading reports. Additionally, the position involves handling customs redress, coordinating tax restitution with the finance team, and supporting the reduction of facilitation payments in compliance with ethical practices and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

Coordination with TPK and Pelindo Panjang:

• Liaise with TPK (Terminal Petikemas) and Pelindo Panjang to facilitate vessel registration and obtain necessary permissions before the vessel's arrival.
  Ensure all required documents and formalities are prepared in advance for vessel clearance procedures.
• Vessel Clearance Formalities:
• Prepare all necessary paperwork and documentation for vessel clearance upon arrival and departure.
  Access inaportnet and VMS (Vessel Monitoring System) to complete vessel clearance requirements.
  Authorities Office Visits:
• Visit relevant authorities' offices, such as Port Authorities, Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and INSA Panjang, to obtain vessel clearance in and out.
  Follow proper procedures and submit all required documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Boat Service Arrangements:
• Coordinate the arrangement of boat services for quarantine checks in the anchorage area, ensuring compliance with quarantine regulations.
  Discharge and Loading Reporting:
• Create accurate and timely reports on the discharge and loading of cargo, submitting them to the Port Authority as per regulations.
  Customs Redress:
• Prepare and submit hard copies of redress letters to customs and attend interviews if required for customs redress procedures.
  Tax Restitution:
• Coordinate with the finance team to submit tax restitution documents to the Panjang Tax Office as required.
  Facilitation Payment Reduction:
• Support the company's policy to reduce or eliminate facilitation payments by adhering to ethical practices and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

We are looking for

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and preferably from Maritime academy.
• Experience in husbandry scope of work would be preferable.
• Vessel agency background is a PLUS.
• Basic English and Indonesian language are required.
• Inaportnet knowledge and SSM website application knowledge would be a PLUS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Software.
• Detail oriented, able to work within timeline, and able to commit with the Vessel working schedule.
