As our Head of Airfreight Product, you will drive and grow profitably and at high customer satisfaction within the NEC region by translating global and regional strategies and initiatives into Area Product and Performance plans and ensure this is being executed and provide support with expertise and guidance.
You will report to Head of Logistics & Services (L&S) Product and will be responsible for leading a team of around 10 direct reports who are a group of Pricing Analyst/Manager, Growth Enablement Manager, Process Design and Improvement Data Analyst etc.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Implement and cascade Global and Regional Product Guidelines within the Area
Optimization and growth of the Product portfolio within the Area (footprint/locations & services), Identify market trends, opportunities and customer needs
Manage capacity and product offering in accordance to market needs
Develop and cascade a value proposition that meets current and future needs of our customer base and tailored to the respective Sales Verticals
Relationship Management / Procurement
Build bridges between Product Development, Delivery, CX and Sales and the Global Airfreight organization and peers in other areas
Drive cost reductions by optimal allocation and contracts
In conjunction with Procurement as required, establish contracts with key 3rd party vendors and optimize local products through day-to-day asset and 3rd party management
Facilitate Global / Regional solutions in Area by providing / developing relevant Local Services products upon request
Establish business cases for asset investments supporting the local and global L&S strategy as well as accountable/measured on realization of the benefits of such business cases
Profitability & Pricing Management
Drive product with Sales, Delivery & CX community
Full Area P&L responsibility including all Pricing activities incl. but not limited to Price setting
Strategy and Margins, cost saving initiatives
Ensure area pricing in compliance with global governance
Performance Management
Manage and improve the performance of the Service/Product in the Area
Product profitability - Focus on maximize revenue, EBIT and GP through upselling and cost management, develop new revenue streams
Strengthen the engagement with global network and drive value through the network
New products introduction and implementation (Go Live)
Drive performance transparency and continuous improvement culture
People Management
Coach, motivate and build a high performing team. Lead by example, inspire and energize the team
Drive a strong community and collaboration across products (lead across functional and organizational boundaries) and Functions

Strong experience in Air Freight product and market knowledge
Breadth of managerial expertise to lead, engage and develop people
Financial acumen – ability to read, interpret and act on P&L
