About the Role:

As a Demand Analyst, you will be a key player in our Supply Chain team, responsible for developing accurate and insightful demand forecasts that drive our business decisions. You will leverage your analytical prowess and data-driven approach to anticipate market trends, identify opportunities, and optimize inventory levels. This is a high-impact role where your insights will directly influence our production planning, inventory management, and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain robust demand forecast models utilizing statistical techniques, historical data, market intelligence, and collaborative input from cross-functional teams.

• Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Extract actionable insights to drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and inform strategic decision-making.

• Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to understand their perspectives and incorporate relevant factors into your forecasts.

• Scenario Planning: Develop and evaluate demand scenarios to assess potential risks and opportunities, enabling proactive decision-making and risk mitigation strategies.

• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful reports on demand forecasts, key trends, and potential risks to senior management.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest forecasting methodologies and technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance our forecasting processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, ideally in a global or multi-regional context.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL). Experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, JDA) is a plus.

• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations.

• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different functions.

• Business Acumen: Understanding of key business drivers and their impact on demand, as well as the ability to translate data insights into strategic business decisions.
