It is capable of providing a highly accurate, guaranteed global positioning service under civilian control. The system is still under development and has recently entered the Exploitation Phase. To strengthen our team responsible for the Security Parts of the Key Management Facility of the Galileo Mission Segment, we are looking for a medior Security Engineer. You will play a key role in developing a mission-critical systems for one of the most prestigious space programmes.

• Your keen eye for detail allows you to perform thorough security risk analyses on system designs, ensuring potential vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated.
• Working closely with system design teams, you contribute to building resilient systems that can withstand security challenges.
• You define and design technical security measures, creating robust barriers against potential threats.
• You play a vital role in supporting the security accreditation process, helping the system meet the necessary security standards and requirements.
• our involvement extends to working with the system team to build and validate security measures, ensuring they are effectively integrated.
• You remain vigilant in monitoring the correct implementation of all security measures, ensuring that the security posture remains strong.

Your expertise is essential in analyzing security risks, devising comprehensive security strategies, and designing solutions for space systems. Your responsibilities span a wide spectrum of security aspects, encompassing network security, cryptographic solutions, application security, ISO27001, and security accreditation.

• With a Bachelor's degree (HBO or WO) or higher, specialized in Information Technology or its equivalent, you bring a strong foundation to our team.
• You have over 3 years of experience as a security engineer, mastering the complexities of securing intricate systems and providing invaluable insights.
• Your background extends to space projects, and you possess valuable experience in security evaluation and accreditation, making you a well-rounded asset.
• Your security certifications (CSSLP, CISSP, etc.) showcase your commitment to excellence in the field, offering added assurance to our clients.
• Your strong written and verbal communication skills in English shine while working harmoniously within a team, promoting effective collaboration and understanding.
• Your willingness to travel to client sites and other CGI offices across Europe demonstrates your dedication to delivering top-notch solutions, no matter where the mission takes us.
