\nThis role will report into the Senior Legal Counsel for UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have strong time management/organizational skills, and a proven ability to prioritize and take ownership/accountability for their work. They should possess a growth mindset and possess a ‘hands on’ mentality, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\nThe Legal team sits within the General Secretary team at Danone (comprising Corporate Affairs, Public Affairs, Regulatory, Sustainability, Legal & Compliance, Corporate Communications and Purpose & BCorp), and this role will involve close cross collaboration and partnership with a variety of subject matter experts in the team. The Legal & Compliance team are a human centric, impactful, supportive, fun and collaborative team and look forward to welcoming its newest member.

- Leading negotiations and drafting a myriad of commercial contracts including service, supply, manufacturing, finance, consulting, marketing, sales, transportation and warehousing agreements. \n
- Partnering with internal brand teams to co-build and implement key product campaigns and initiatives across our entire portfolio of brands (i.e., Essential Dairy, Plant Based, Beverages, Specialized Nutrition). \n
- Managing corporate governance for Danone’s UK & Ireland entities. \n
- Providing clear and quick guidance to multiple functions in UK and Ireland (including procurement, research and innovation, scientific affairs, finance, sustainability, public affairs, communications, facilities, sales and marketing) without undue reliance on outside counsel. \n
- Working with Global and Local colleagues in developing, improving and implementing corporate governance processes, contracting guidelines, processes and training for the business. \n
