Sobolt develops data-driven products that contribute to the renewable energy transition and climate adaptation. We find solutions and opportunities in combining innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence with earth observation data. We focus on generating highly accurate geospatial intelligence for corporations, governments and NGOs. We developed a unique analytical framework that combines machine learning algorithms with remote sensing capabilities and statistical methods to locate and analyze objects from satellite images. Using satellite data is ideal for providing geospatial intelligence. It is scalable across the globe, but has image quality that can compete with aerial photography or drone data capture. On the framework, we build different application for object recognition and analysis. For example, SolarSearch maps existing solar PV installations to significantly improve the currently available data on decentralized renewable energy generation. Utility companies and governments use this data to better manage the impact of solar energy generation on their activities. More examples can be found on the Sobolt website. As a company, we are open to a challenge and aim to work on high-impact solutions. We emphasize maximizing agility, efficiency, and quality of output while trying to minimize overhead.
