KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages professional staff, including entry-level, and / or supervisors.
Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Handles most situations independently and is guided by policies,procedures and the business plan, but will seek advice and guidance on more complex issues.
Applies subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues.
Operates within practices and procedures covered by precedents or well defined policies escalating all nonroutine problems.
You search continuously to improve the existing operational processes + systems used.
You ensure a smooth hand over of tasks and optimize communication between the different teams at time of shift transfer.
You ensure daily updates in the Warehouse Management system of production results, system faults and stock deviations. You provide the necessary reporting to the Site Manager
Experience in a functional area routinely applying knowledge of theories, methods, techniques and processes.
Understands the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between own and other functions.
Develops people - coaching and mentoring to build organizational capability, talent and bench strength.
Adherence to the applicable Quality Management System based on ISO requirements, as well as GMP and GDP requirements.
Managing activities covered by the authorization, including ensuring compliance with serialization requirements.
Ensuring that the entrepreneur’s actions regarding wholesale trade in medicinal products are properly documented.
Ensuring that training and professional development programs are implemented and executed.
Coordination and immediate execution of actions related to the withdrawal and suspension of medicinal products.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
+5 years’ experience in pharma logistics
+5 years’ experience in managing and leading a warehouse operations team
Knowledge of regulations regarding Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Experience to work in an international matrix organization with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
Lean thinking and continuous improvement is your second nature
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
Dutch and English fluency
Excellent written and verbal English
