Job Description

Avery Dennison is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to support the AD Solutions Group MarComm team with administration of our marketing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations, process coordination or project management, particularly in a technology environment.

This role will be responsible for daily oversight of all budget management and marketing operations processes. This support position is critical to enabling the Marcomm team to deliver against our business goals. This is a fast-paced multi-faceted role that requires someone who is detail oriented, loves numbers and has an ambition to play a crucial role in growing the Avery Dennison brand.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Manage all daily activities to support the global Solutions Group marcomm budget, including setting up new suppliers, raising purchase orders, coordinating with finance teams, and receiving supplier invoices

• Review and implement best practices to drive efficiencies across the team

• Ensure consistent documentation updates are maintained

• Maintain vendor management processes in financial systems, coordinating with IT and finance teams

• Support administration work for raising NDAs and submitting contracts to legal

• Maintain consistency and governance across documents and implement updates timely and efficiently

• Refine and maintain governance surrounding sign off and approval processes

• Provide support for team metric tracking and reporting activities

• Manage the marketing sample request process

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in an operations, finance, or marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment

• Strong communications skills - written and verbal

• Experience in proactive outreach, collaborating with peers and cross functional teams

• Highly detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and responsible

• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

• Analytical thinker with problem-solving mindset

• Positive attitude with a solutions-oriented approach

• Experience working effectively across diverse cultures and operating structures; proven ability to excel in a global environment

• Comfortable working autonomously and self motivated

• Knowledge of RFID technologies a plus, but not required

• Comfortable working with Google Workspace, Smartsheet, and Oracle systems a plus

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 5% of the time if required
