Job Description
Do you want to put your financial and analytical skills into practice in a diverse and global manufacturing company?
We are currently looking for an Intern to support our Business Intelligence and Finance Excellence team in our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest! Being part of this international team, you will provide reporting and analytical support to our European Sales and Marketing organization and internal Finance.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Support the Business Intelligence team by generating all regular reporting required by our internal and external stakeholders
Partner with customers/stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into new dashboards/reports that generate valuable insights efficiently.
Contribute to the automation and standardization of internal reports or business processes by identifying improvement opportunities and generating SOPs
Establish and build upon robust and cohesive working relationships between Finance and all our stakeholders in IT and the Commercial organization
Provide ad-hoc financial support and project analysis contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Maintain and update our Finance collaboration site as well as manage the content and publication of our newsletter with all Finance stakeholders.
The preferred start date is May 1st 2025. The ideal candidate is available 5 days a week for 5-6 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week.
Qualifications
What kind of candidate are we looking for?
Someone currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business with a focus on Finance or any related studies
Someone not afraid to talk to different stakeholders and work independently in a dynamic environment
Someone with very good Excel (Pivot, vlookups, Conditional Operations) and Google Sheets skills
Someone enthusiastic and open to learning new Business Intelligence tools and has an affinity to system
Someone with strong attention to detail and with the ability to solve problems
