Job Description
Position Overview:
The Senior Creative Designer is a key member of a global design team, this role works as part of a world-class creative team with a small design collective feel. The Senior Creative Designer is responsible for driving and delivering a creative strategy as well as development of integrated branding solutions for key Retailers and Brands. The creative focus is on the design and development of inspiring, sustainable and intelligent branding, which includes the modification/redesign of existing branding concepts and the proactive delivery of creative products development in alignment with customer strategy. The Senior Creative Designer oversees all above initiatives and can act independently .
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the key accounts managers to achieve the brand’s creative objectives. Focus on developing high value design work across a variety of Apparel solutions (graphic, tags, tickets, embellishments) and Digital channels (customer digital presentations, web pages, social media posts, marketing campaigns)
Research and deliver market insights on branding, fashion and retail trends. Coordinate with global creative team to bring global trends to your customers and to help introduce trends to the global marketplace
Work closely with the Global marketing teams, Global commercial team, Global category management and the solutions teams to execute the Apparel Solutions strategy and to ensure local best practices are exchanged. Collaborate actively with Creative Designer and Creative Design Manager to deliver high quality innovative designs and concepts to drive revenue
Work on commercial tools and/or events, to showcase Newness and innovative products to our retail brand customers
Occasionally develop creative concepts for supporting internal campaigns
Qualifications
Excellent graphic design capabilities. Proficient in Adobe CC suite, primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, with working knowledge of video editing in Premiere
Strong knowledge in creating digital marketing experiences and layouts. Comfortable with usage of digital technologies such as AI, ChatGPT, web design, etc..
Ability to effectively collaborate with the Sales team to present to customers our creative concepts, products and solutions
Working experience in the Apparel and Footwear industry preferred
Prior experience with a major branded apparel group and/or retailer is highly desired. Experience in marketing, digital, Brand ID and packaging design is also preferred
Ability to manage numerous projects/activities simultaneously (multi-task). Must be able to maintain creative energy while satisfying customer deadlines and enjoy a fast paced and challenging environment. Candidates must provide a portfolio of creative capabilities/skillset
Ability to communicate with customers and build relationships. Must be engaging and naturally at ease when engaging with customers, upper management and staff
Experience in font designs will be an advantage
