For one of our clients specialising in underwater installation and construction services, we are looking for an HR Advisor to support the business by addressing HR-related queries from both management and employees.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR focal point for addressing queries and concerns raised by management on HR topics.
- Utilise HR information systems to access, input, and compile data for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Monitor key HR metrics and provide recommendations to enhance turnover and retention rates.
- Identify and address the development needs of employees and managers, offering appropriate solutions.
- Respond to employee requests and potential issues (e.g., grievances), effectively managing their expectations.
- Advise managers on optimal strategies for recruitment, selection, and interview evaluation procedures.
- Discuss employment terms, conditions, and benefits with employees, ensuring satisfaction.
- Contribute to HR Policies, ensuring compliance with current legislation and adherence by all staff members.
- Participate in one or more HR projects, contributing to their successful completion.
- Ensure HR delivery within the assigned client group area, following relevant employment legislation.
- Collaborate with Business Partners to support employee mobility and associated policies.
- Oversee and monitor staff performance, career development, and appraisal processes.
- Monitor absence trends across the business, targeting high and ad hoc absence, and implement necessary procedures to reduce.
- Track contractors and liaise with managers regarding contract renewals.
Requirements HR advisor
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field such as labour relations.
- 2-5 years of experience in an HR Advisor role.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch labour legislation.
- Proficient in oral and written English.
- Demonstrated expertise in Stakeholder Management.
- Proactice attitude, anticipating potential obstacles and recommending appropriate courses of action.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient in working with Office 365 and related software.
- Experience with HR systems, ideally with SAP SuccessFactors, is desired.
