Principal Control Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Control Systems Engineer to lead large projects by managing automation contractors, developing control system architectures, and ensuring successful project execution, with a focus on Honeywell systems and safety compliance.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and execute testing protocols, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Develop detailed control system architectures, control strategies, and functional specifications.
• Prepare and present project documentation, including proposals, progress reports, and final project reports.
• Manage and oversee the work of the Main Automation Contractor, ensuring the quality and accuracy of deliverables.
• Demonstrate a proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and project management.
• Collaborate effectively with remote office, using the work-sharing concept.
• Apply and implement ISA 106 philosophy in control systems design and execution.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in Control System Engineering.
• Extensive experience with Honeywell control systems is essential.
• Proven ability to work independently as a Control System Lead Engineer on large projects.
• Strong skills in managing Main Automation Contractors and verifying deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• FS Engineer, TuV certification for Safety Instrumented Systems.
