We are looking for a Senior ICSS Engineer to design, implement, and ensure the compliance of advanced Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) for offshore oil and gas projects, from initial proposal through to testing and final integration.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Proposal / Concept / FEED Phase:
- Review and analyse client requirements.
- Participate in system selection to align with project needs.
- Develop initial system architecture and prepare I/O estimates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, classification requirements, and company and client standards.
- Basic / Detail Phase:
- Continuously assess cost, constructability, operability, and maintainability in system design.
- Develop project-specific system designs and associated documentation.
- Create key documentation, including Hierarchical Shutdown Levels Diagram, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Control & Safeguarding Philosophy, Fire & Gas (F&G) Philosophy, and F&G layouts.
- Participate in safety reviews and assessments, including HAZOP, SIL assessment, and verification processes.
- Prepare ICSS Request for Quotation (RFQ), evaluate vendor quotations, and finalise vendor selection.
- Act as package engineer, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of the system.
- Oversee the integration and interface of package nits with the ICSS.
- Conduct inspections and tests, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Maintain compliance with regulatory regimes, classification standards, and both internal and client-specific requirements.
Requirements Senior ICSS Engineer
- Master's or Bachelor's degree (TU/HTS) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years in advanced ICSS systems within the Oil & Gas industry, with knowledge of international offshore codes and standards.
- Proficiency in ICSS systems, especially within the offshore oil & gas sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and classification requirements.
- Knowledge of safety reviews and standards, including HAZOP and SIL assessments.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Proactive approach with strong initiative.
- Problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be willing to travel and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Safety-conscious with a focus on quality and compliance.
