We are looking for a Project Engineer - Heavy Lift to lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, plan, and oversee the installation or removal of large offshore structures ensuring timely, efficient, and value-driven project execution.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary Agile Team, including Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects, and Draftsmen, through the concept development, basic, and detailed engineering phases.
- Manage the design, engineering, and fabrication of innovative lifting tools and supports for installing or removing topsides and jacket structures up to 60,000 tonnes.
- Prepare procedural and manual documentation and provide on-site support during yard and offshore execution.
- Identify project goals and priorities, translating them into actionable plans for the team.
- Interface with clients, subcontractors, project managers, and internal disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain and organise the team backlog with prioritised and detailed engineering deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and make independent decisions in close consultation with stakeholders.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Represent, support, and inspire the team to promote cooperation, transparency, and adaptability.
- Aim to maximise the value of the product through effective leadership and innovation.
Requirements Project Engineer - Heavy Lift
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles within the offshore and/or marine environment.
- Preferably experience as a lead or project engineer.
- Willingness to travel and work offshore as needed.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated interest in developments in the offshore and renewable energy industries.
- Strong team player with a positive mindset and robust communication and organisational skills.
- Customer-oriented, decisive, and result-driven.
