Lead Engineer HVAC

We are looking for a Lead HVAC Engineer to design, implement, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for offshore platforms and energy infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design HVAC systems that withstand harsh offshore conditions, ensuring optimal indoor air quality.
• Engineering energy-efficient HVAC solutions, possibly integrating renewable energy sources, to minimise energy consumption without compromising performance.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for ventilation, air quality, and crew well-being.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of designs, installations, maintenance procedures, and modifications.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10-15 years) as an HVAC Engineer, with a focus on offshore environments such as vessels and platforms.
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, energy efficiency, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software and engineering tools, such as Carrier, Bink, and Siemens.
• Knowledge/Experience in PFDs and P&IDs.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt solutions to unique offshore challenges.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
