Customer Growth Manager / Account Manager

Based in Rotterdam, Chainels is a fast-growing tech company operating in the real estate sector. Our SaaS solution, trusted by renowned real estate investors, is available in over 15 countries.
With our European client base expanding rapidly, we are looking for a new Customer Growth Manager / Account manager to join our team. As part of the Customer Growth Team, you play a vital role in our growth strategy, focusing on maximizing recurring revenue. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with our European customers, acting as a trusted advisor to drive customer loyalty and long-term success.
What you'll do
- Account Management: You manage a portfolio of approximately 15 enterprise clients and 15 mid-market customers. As a trusted advisor, you are the primary point of contact, leveraging a strategic high-touch approach to drive customer growth and success.
- Renewal Management: You actively extend customer subscriptions by preparing tailored offers, negotiating pricing, and documenting all relevant insights. Furthermore, you develop creative solutions to meet customer needs while supporting Chainel’s long-term objectives.
- Expansion Management: You identify upselling opportunities, create awareness for specific products, deliver product demonstrations, and negotiate pricing. Additionally, you simplify complex upselling strategies and communicate the value of our solutions to key stakeholders.
- Risk Management: You proactively predict and mitigate the risk of customers downgrading their current products or canceling their subscriptions by managing escalations and providing effective solutions. Additionally, you handle cancellations by confirming and following up with customers to ensure a smooth process.
- Projects & onboardings: You assist with on-site onboarding activations, develop new processes, and enhance existing workflows to improve efficiency.
What you need to succeed
- You have at least 3 years of experience in Account Management, Partnership, or Sales in a B2B SaaS environment
- Completed studies in economics, business administration, marketing, or a comparable study
- You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in German is a plus.
- You have an affinity for real estate and, thanks to your solution-oriented nature, you are a competent contact person for our existing customers
