About Us

Within the Damen Marketing department, we have a few specializations to divide the areas of marketing. Our Digital Marketing team is dedicated to enhancing our digital presence and engaging with our community through various social media channels. We focus on creating meaningful interactions with our audience and driving organic growth as paid growth. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to our social media strategy and execution.

The Role

As a Social Media Intern, you will play a crucial role in taking our organic social media channels to the next level. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, interacting with our community, and supporting various social media-related tasks. Your contributions will help us increase our online presence and foster stronger connections with our audience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and schedule content for our social media platforms.
• Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages where needed.
• Assist in the creation and execution of social media posts.
• Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
• Support other social media-related tasks as needed.

Skills & Experience:

• Currently pursuing a HBO, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Business or a related field.
• Understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Netherlands and English.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
• You show initiative and have a great sense of responsibility.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or social media management tools is a plus.
