Your role
The ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Contract Manager is crucial in managing and overseeing IT services and product contracts.
In this new role within ICT FMO, you can establish and further develop the ICT contract management function in the organization. With increasing regulatory requirements, e.g., Dora, EBA, the ICT contract manager will be crucial in managing and overseeing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating any risks related to ICT contracts and vendors.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Contract Creation and Negotiation: With Legal & Procurement, drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contract terms for IT services, software, and hardware.
- Vendor Management: Maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring contract terms compliance.
- Third Party Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with IT contracts.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensuring vendors meet their contractual obligations and performance standards. Resolving contract disputes in an effective and timely manner.
- Legal Compliance: Working with Legal, Procurement, and other internal teams to ensure contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Budget Management: Overseeing contract budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Contract renewal/termination: Discussing and negotiating new terms and pricing, preparing and updating all documentation for renewal and signing, understanding the termination clauses, and ensuring compliance with them.
You will be responsible for enhancing FMO’s contract and vendor management procedures to ensure we comply with the relevant standards and legislation.
You will also participate in high-risk ICT procurement and outsourcing activities and be the subject matter expert.
Please note that we launch this role with the title "ICT Contract Manager," but your internal title will be "Procurement Officer" to comply with our Job Matrix.
Our offer
This role offers a salary between € 85K and €95 K gross per year (including an 8% holiday allowance). This is for 40 hours a week and varies depending on your experience. Besides this, we provide a comprehensive benefits package like:

The Third-Party Management team is part of the ICT department. The ICT department consists of more than 60 dedicated colleagues from many different nationalities and backgrounds. Our Third-Party Management Team has 6 experienced professionals and comprises Service Delivery Management, Third Party Risk management and Contract Management disciplines.
You will focus primarily on contract management; however, we encourage knowledge sharing within the team to increase maturity and reduce key person risk. The team members all report to the ICT Manager Applications.
Your background

To be successful in this role you possess strong stakeholder management skills. You are analytical and problem-solving. You have outstanding business negotiation skills, and pragmatic and result-oriented approach. You show thorough understanding of process management, operational control, automating processes and risk management.
Besides this, you possess:
- Higher professional education or a university degree. Preferably in IT, business or a related field
- Knowledge of DORA, EBA, DNB and other applicable regulations, as well as Dutch contract law
- Solid understanding of IT systems and software
- At least 5 years of experience in IT contract management or a related area
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure they meet organizational needs.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
