Job Description

As Business Reporting Manager within Fugro, your role is to manage Fugro business reports from specification to support and maintenance. Dive into the heart of our ERP system processes, spanning Finance, Project Management, Procurement, Operations and HR, to deliver not just reports, but also strategic insights. This in order to provide the business with accurate, consistent, timely and easy to access output to report business performance and make better decisions.

Your role

• You establish reporting requirements, identify data sources and design reports that are clear and informative;

• You oversee the development and testing of business reports. This includes ensuring that reports are accurate, timely and compliant with all relevant standards and regulations;

• You provide guidelines and standards for the specification and design of business reports. This includes providing a consistent user experience, guidelines on what reporting tool is to be used and developing recommendations for improvement;

• You communicate with stakeholders, understand business requirements and drive standardization of reports across the Fugro group;

• You manage and develop the business report development and support capacity for Fugro by hiring, training, evaluating internal and external analysts and developers and providing them with the resources and support they need to be successful;

• You determine and maintain the security/access grant structure for the reports to ensure sensitive data is secure and shared only with relevant stakeholders;

• You prepare and maintain a report library explaining the purpose of each report along with the intended audience.

Your track record

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree with at least 3 years' experience as a Report Manager or Report Expert;

• You are licensed in SQL or any form of reporting and BI tooling or have a proven track record in mastering those. Knowledge of Power BI and DAX coding are good to have;

• You have knowledge of basic financial concepts, profit and loss, revenue, tax and project and operational performance management;

• You have excellent business analysis skills;

• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
