For the Enterprise Risk Management team, based in Leidschendam – The Netherlands, we are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Risk Management Professional.

As a Risk Management Professional, you report directly to the Director Internal Audit and work closely together with senior management and various departments (e.g. Internal Control and ESG) within the organisation. This role will further strengthen the risk function within the organisation, promoting a risk culture with direct impact in managing the framework and related processes.

Your role

• You support the embedding (and maintenance) of Fugro’s overall risk management framework within the organisation. This includes governance, taxonomy, risk identification and facilitation of workshops, etc.;

• You ensure that Fugro’s risk management standards and policies are up to date and support implementation within the regions and at the corporate level;

• You support reporting to the Supervisory Board, Board of Management, and other key stakeholders by providing insight into risk exposures (including risk heatmaps) and performance against set risk appetite, which will facilitate decision-making at the relevant level;

• You maintain the corporate risk registers, including the validation and identification of potential new risks;

• You participate in and facilitate risk workshops at various levels within the organisation;

• You ensure a good interaction with relevant stakeholders (in particular with Internal Control and Internal Audit);

• You are responsible for the integration of ESG factors into Fugro’s overall risk management framework in close cooperation with the sustainability function.

Your track record

• You have a Masters degree in Finance/Economics or relevant Risk Management education;

• You have 6+ years relevant working experience in an international context;

• You have a sound understanding of risk management practices (e.g. preferably CRMA or willing to obtain qualification);

• You have proven experience and/or interest in risk management;

• You have strong written and oral communication skills in English.
