For our head office in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Lead FP&A to join our Finance Management Team of Europe/Africa.

In this role you are responsible for forecasting, reporting and analytics in the EUAF region. You ensure to provide meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on business performance, supporting relevant stakeholders (Regional Director, Regional Business Line Director and Country Managers). You are a change agent for the monthly and ad-hoc reporting and analytics in the EUAF region. You will centralize our reporting and analysis as much as possible and you will be responsible for improving and automating our forecasting and analysis capabilities. You will also lead the process for the Multi Year Plan, the budget and the forecast for the region.
As a key member of the EUAF Finance MT, you report into the Head of Finance for EUAF and you will manage directly a team of 2 Controllers.

Your role

• You ensure, with support of your team, that our monthly reporting is correct and complete and contains the right analysis.

• Together with the Regional HoF and Regional Business Controllers, you support and guide ad-hoc analysis projects at regional or business line level.

• You provide the correct information on behalf of EUAF to the Investor Relations lead of Fugro.

• You work on improved, standardized and automated reporting and analytics at regional level and at Fugro in cooperation with the Group FP&A.

• You work on improved forecasting in all areas, CAPEX, Revenue, Costs, Backlog, NWC.

• Deliver comprehensive variance and trend analysis vs prior year / prior plan.
  

What you bring

• You preferably have a M.Sc. degree in e.g. Economics or Business Administration with a relevant professional qualification (RA, ACCA, RC/ CMA or equivalent).

• You have relevant working experience in FP&A/Business Analytics/Business Controlling

• Experience in Business modelling/Power BI

• You bring enough experience to help the organization go up the maturity ladder for reporting, analytics and forecasting.

• You have the capacity to digest complex information, see trends, have a helicopter view and think in scenarios and analysis through data. You understand major business drivers as well as the impact of organizational structure and process on operations.

• Experience in guiding a team is a plus.

• You gain trust from senior stakeholders (internal and external) and can actively function in a matrix organization, dealing with accountability and responsibility across multiple matrix lines.

• You are an excellent communicator with good English language skills (verbal and written) and you perform well in an international and multi-stakeholder setting.
