As a Business Analyst Data, part of Global Applications Services, you will work on data insights from enterprise data to support various departments in meeting their day-to-day data needs. Together with the Data Integrations Analytics (DIA) team, you will make sure the right data is easily accessible for your stakeholders. Your role involves a dynamic collaboration with business process owners/stakeholders and the DIA team to develop functional designs and data requests that are not just technically sound, but also strategically aligned.

Your role

We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and IT systems. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our data-driven initiatives align with our strategic goals.

• You collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for data and analytics projects in line with Fugro’s standardized business processes;

• You work closely with the DIA team to design and implement data solutions;

• You conduct data quality assessments and ensure data integrity across various systems;

• You perform a stakeholder, dependency and impact analysis for requests;

• You stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence;

• You ensure applications are fit for purpose and delivered in a timely manner.

Your track record

• You have a Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field;

• You have at least 3 years of experience in an international project based company with several years of experience in implementing Data and Analytics solutions, SQL, dimensional modelling and ETL processes. As a plus, you have relevant certifications such as ITIL, ITSM and Microsoft (Azure) Technology stack.

• You have effective communication skills and are able to communicate at all levels of the organization and you have excellent English language skills. Both written and oral.

• You have the ability to understand high level software and systems architecture related to AI;

• Your communication skills are effective on both technical and non-technical level. With this, you are able to communicate across functions;

• You are process driven, have attention to detail and take ownership.
