Gradyent is on a mission to help cities to decarbonise faster by digitising district heating with our digital twin. Backed by a group of top investors, we are scaling the platform globally.
We currently have a team of 120+ people and offices in Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Germany, Poland, and Hungary. Our team combines programmers and energy specialists, data scientists and top-tier consulting alums. We are expanding quickly and looking for a Solutions Engineer in Germany (preferably Berlin) to help us scale in the region.
What we do
We offer a SaaS solution to create digital twins of heating networks. These digital twins, powered by AI and analytics, optimise (district) heating networks from heat sources to customers. As a result, we are transforming networks by reducing CO2 emissions and optimising operations in terms of temperatures, pressures, costs and other metrics.
What you will do
As a Service Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the operational efficiency of our services. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and services.
What you will do
Monitor and manage the performance and availability of services.
Troubleshoot and resolve service-related issues in a timely manner.
Manage and execute deployments to various environments.
Create and maintain development, testing, and production environments.
Configure applications to meet client-specific needs and implement specific features as required.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement improvements and optimizations.
Develop and maintain operational documentation and procedures.
Analyze system performance metrics and implement proactive measures to prevent issues.
Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years experience in a Service Operations or similar role (Cloud, DevOps, Site Reliability, etc)
Familiarity and profeciency with our tech stack: AWS, Grafana, Prometheus, Python, GitLab CI, Docker)
Knowledge of databases (SQL, MongoDB, Parquet)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
Certifications in relevant technologies a plus.
