You will join a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a challenging but friendly environment. Department

The Recruitment department is responsible for recruiting Dutch and international students for all programmes at Hotelschool The Hague, primarily our flagship Bachelor in Hospitality Management. The department works with applicants to Hotelschool the Hague from initial contact through to the point of Selection. It is a department with energetic and dedicated colleagues who enjoy promoting and representing Hotelschool The Hague worldwide. The Recruitment Department is part of the cluster Alumni & Industry Relations with frequent opportunities to collaborate with other teams. The Student Recruiter reports to the Team Leader of the Recruitment Department


General function description

  • Recruits students for the study programmes of Hotelschool The Hague
  • Represents Hotelschool The Hague at various events, such as open days, international selection days, external presentations and education fairs in the markets of your scope.
  • Develops and manages relations with candidates, students, alumni and other stakeholders
  • Contributes to the sales and recruitment annual plan, with objectives, forecasting, activities and budgets
  • Contributes to the development of new methods and products for recruitment
  • Makes a contribution to the development of the recruitment policy
  • Contributes to various (online) channels for the purpose of the promotion of Hotelschool The Hague.



Candidate profile

You have/are:

  • A team player but confident to work independently and remotely; as you will visit the countries in your portfolio on a regular basis
  • Comfortable with frequent travel included in the role
  • Energetic & creative
  • Understand and identifies with the target audience, seeks energy from interaction with young people
  • Willing to work at irregular hours ( weekends, evenings)
  • A true ambassador of our institute
  • Affinity with both hospitality & education
  • Fluent in English, with additional German and/or Romanian proficiency as an advantage
  • Preferably has studied abroad
  • Bachelor in related field such as Hospitality Management, Business or Marketing
  • Has at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Remuneration

Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 8 the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between € 3.184,63 and € 4.208,14 per month, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

In addition, Hotelschool The Hague offers:

Additional information

Hotelschool The Hague works with a 40-hour workweek. The starting date for this position is half January beginning of February 2025.

An English language proficiency test may be part of the selection procedure. Upon receiving an offer, a certificate of conduct (VOG) is required.
