🌍 Build and expand our streaming data platform to support new and exciting use-cases such as V2G, and support our growth to a million EVs! You will be working together with data scientists and backend engineers, where you will help building a mature and robust platform. You could be working on enabling the machine learning models to use the same high quality data during training and production, or making sure that we can show the current charge schedule in the app.

🔋 What you'll be doing:

• Design, implement and maintain streaming data pipelines using Apache Flink, handling real-time data efficiently. For example, replacing an API with a streaming pipeline.
• Collaborate with our Analytics and Engineering teams to develop and implement new use-cases around (realtime) data.
• Increase the maturity of our data platform by improving our CICD processes (blue-green deployments, AB testing, integration testing, etc).
• Maintain and optimize existing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and reliability, as well as perform backfilling of missing data to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain our data infrastructure. Make sure our day-to-day operation runs smoothly.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data engineering, bringing in new ideas to improve our data handling capabilities.
  
  

🚀 What you bring:

• Experience with streaming technologies such as (py)Flink and Kafka.
• Working knowledge of Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, cicd pipelines, micro-service /event-driven architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
• A passion for problem-solving and a drive to positively impact the environment.
• Have a competitive edge and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent command of English is a must, both written and spoken.
• Experience in Energy environment is highly desirable.
