Light Tree Ventures (LTV) works with brands from all over the world. We develop custom light therapy devices that are being sold online and offline (in Sephora e.g.). This development is often a R&D sprint, designing a prototype and getting it ready for production. A fast and creative process, realizing the next generation product for a brand.

In our Dutch team we are looking for an experienced and ambitious International Finance Administrator.

So, what will you do exactly?

Job description

As a Finance Administrator you plan, perform, and manage a broad range of accounting, financial, and budgetary functions. They verify the completeness and accuracy of financial documents and transactions, create budget plans, rationalize expenditures and investments, and manage cash flow (accounts receivable/accounts payable).

You will also generate, on a monthly basis, reports to keep management and other stakeholders updated about the company’s and subsidiaries' financial health and strategies.

The Finance Administrator has a direct link with the international management and accounting team. On all other issues, you will report directly to the CEO.

You will be responsible for

• Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis, including financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting, to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analysis to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborating with other departments to develop and manage budgets, monitoring expenses, and providing financial projections and forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Risk Management: Identifying and assessing financial risks, such as market volatility, credit risks, and operational risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial security.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitoring and managing the organization's cash flow, optimizing cash positions, and implementing effective cash management strategies to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Financial Planning: Assisting in long-term financial planning, such as capital budgeting, investment analysis, and mergers and acquisitions, to support the organization's growth and expansion objectives.
• Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards, and coordinating financial audits done by our International Accountants to maintain accurate financial records and transparency.
• Insights: Providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision- making, such as investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and profitability analysis.
• Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, such as international banks, investors, auditors, and financial institutions, to facilitate financial operations and secure funding when needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in finance and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Your skillset should include:

• You have at least three years of experience in Financial Administration (preferably International experience as well)
• You have an affinity for Finance in a product development and manufacturing environment.
• You are competent in and have experience with administration software such as Wefact,
• Quickbooks, ZohoBooks, Exact Online.
• Interest in the beauty, sport/health, and medical industry
• A completed higher professional education (HBO) with relevant work experience
• You are entrepreneurial and a good negotiator with insight and analytical skills
• You are interested in working with AI / AI-software to simplify work and analyses
• Flexible and positive attitude, ambitious and willing to learn
• You have a high problem-solving capacity
• You work precise, you’re social and stress resistant
• You have good knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English (Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus!)
• You are conscientious and well organized
• Ability to work in an international team and independently
• Ability to work with our International Accounting team in The Netherlands, India, China and
• United States of America
• Open to do calls outside of working hours with financial reporters across the world
• Willing to travel for work
