About the job:

Based in The Hague, Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the Command and Control (C2) Centre, which is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities (design, transition and operations) for Joint/Maritime/Land C2 services in the following technical service areas: Land, Maritime, Joint, Special Operations, Logistics, Medical, Military Engineering and Nuclear Command and Control, Military Messaging, Situational Awareness, Operations Planning and Collective Training and Exercise Support.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Principal Project Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

· Risk Management / Business Risk Management

· Requirements Definition and Management

· User Experience Evaluation

· Contract Management

· Stakeholder Relationship Management

· Project Management

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

· A Master’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, and 5 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years post related experience

· Recent experience in Project management of C4ISR acquisition and / or development projects for a large organization;

· Proven ability to work successfully with military and civilian staff, Industries and in Sponsors/Industry negotiations;

· Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or other C4ISR systems;

· Proven success in the management of assigned project staff and in leading project teams;

· Experience in Project Management tools (such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Project/EPM), managing cost and labour;

· Experience of NATO or national governmental acquisition policy and procurement procedures;

· A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP. The lack of formal qualifications can be compensated by the demonstration of expertise and experience in the domain.

· Fluency in English, both written and spoken
