Job Description:

As a Salesforce Engineer, you play a key role in our organization. You have a T-shaped profile and don’t mind spreading your time across several subjects. You spend your time analyzing, developing, maintaining and testing the applications that support the business processes of our retail bank. Working agile needs a hands-on mentality; when a user story is done, you check the requirements, and you are not afraid to speak up when you need to. Furthermore, you:

  • Have an engineering mindset and feel responsibility for analyzing, coding and designing our current and future processes
  • Align solutions with technical impact and potential risks with stakeholders such as Product Owner, Business Owner(s), architecture and the development team
  • Have a proactive and structured way of working
  • Have experience working agile/scrum and have experience with DevOps.
  • Have an advanced level of knowledge of the Salesforce Platform.
  • Preferably have experience working with banking/retail banking products.

Your team

As Salesforce Engineer you are part of the Savings IT Team within the Retail IT department. This team is a multi-disciplinary team that develops, services and maintains applications for our Retail Bank Savings departments, with the prime focus on Salesforce. It is a cross-functional team that consists of people with different backgrounds, including a business analyst, data engineers, functional application managers, and multiple Salesforce Engineers. We work in a DevOps environment that helps our Retail Bank to develop and maintain the applications that will support our customers in their decisive moments.

What do you bring?

In order to increase our Salesforce team capability, we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Engineer. You bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with the Salesforce platform.
  • A level of operating consistent with an university degree in bachelor’s or master’s. Preferably in computer science
  • The ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them to a Salesforce solution and supervise code quality through peer reviews
  • An advanced experience building within Salesforce using low-code tools.
  • Salesforce Developer's and Architect 's certifications are preferable.
  • Experience with Sales, Service and Experience Cloud.
  • Advanced coding skills with Apex, JS, LWC, Aura. Fluent language skills in English and preferably Dutch.
  • The team player with great communication skills and sense of accountability.
