What will you do?
NIBC is seeking a skilled and motivated MLOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MLOps practices, experience with data science, and proficiency in Databricks and AzureML. As an MLOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, automation, and maintenance of machine learning models, ensuring their integration within the platform and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
· Deploy, automate, and maintain ML models using Databricks and AzureML.
· Collaborate with data scientists to ensure models are production-ready and meet performance standards.
· Develop and maintain GUI applications using tools like Streamlit to facilitate model interaction and visualization.
· Implement best practices in MLOps, ensuring models are scalable, reliable, and easy to monitor.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including risk domain experts and banking professionals, to understand and address their needs.
· Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
· Maintain meticulous documentation of processes, configurations, and workflows.
Your team
We created the data & analytics team to enable our business to deliver high quality data products using a modern cloud data platform. The mission of this technology driven department is to ensure
that data can be sourced, ingested, integrated, and consumed through well designed, automated, and simple to use services and frameworks. The advanced analytics team is an agile team that works in close cooperation with the domain data teams (risk, retail bank, corporate bank, regulatory and finance). The core capabilities that need to be developed include Machine Learning and Monitoring. These capabilities should be metadata driven and tightly integrated with the Governance framework.

What do you bring?
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
· 2-5 years of experience in MLOps, preferably within the risk domain or banking sector.
· Proficiency in Python for developing, deploying, and managing machine learning models.
· Strong understanding of data science modeling concepts and techniques.
· Experience working with Databricks and AzureML.
· Familiarity with GUI development using tools like Streamlit.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to process management.
· Experience in working in Agile/Scrum/DevOps teams or clear understanding of the methodology.
· Fluent English.
Advantageous to have:
· Azure certification(s).
· Experience in risk management or financial services.
· Experience with MATLAB applications and operationalizing them.
