Job Description:
What will you do?
As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you play a key role in our organization. Effortlessly balancing your focus across multiple topics while driving meaningful impact. Collaborating closely with our Salesforce Engineers and key stakeholders, you ensure our application landscape evolves in alignment with both business priorities and IT goals.
Your entrepreneurial mindset inspires you to proactively identify opportunities, streamline processes, and drive innovation. You excel at gathering and translating functional and non-functional requirements into actionable solutions, presenting these effectively to diverse audiences. By initiating and coordinating impactful changes, you play a pivotal role in delivering solutions that meet strategic objectives and exceed expectations.
Your core responsibilities are:
- to support the team in the change cycle from requirements gathering to testing
- to make sure IT-epics are clear enough for the quarterly planning sessions.
- to align stakeholders and challenge their assumptions on IT and business subjects.
- to speak up when you think people are not aligned and make sure they will align.
- to clear up vagueness during the change-cycle, so that operations run smoothly.
Your team
You will join the Mortgages IT Team, part of the Retail IT department. This seven-person, cross-functional team is dedicated to developing, servicing, and maintaining applications for our Retail Bank’s mortgage departments, with a strong focus on Salesforce. The team consists of individuals with diverse skill sets, including a Business Analyst and multiple Salesforce Engineers. Operating in a DevOps environment, the team supports the Retail Bank in building and maintaining applications that make a real difference in customers' most decisive moments.

What You Bring
We are looking for an energetic and proactive Business Analyst based in the Netherlands, who excels in both communication and collaboration. You bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, combined with 2–3 years of banking industry knowledge.
- Strong analytical skills, enabling you to identify the core of requirements and place them in the context of a broader solution.
- A solid foundation in IT and proven knowledge of Salesforce systems
- A Salesforce certification is a plus
- Knowledge of design thinking and experience in organizing workshops to uncover opportunities and align stakeholders.
- Expertise in Business Analysis methods, best practices, and the Agile way of working.
- A sense of accountability and excellent communication skills, whether advising, coaching, or presenting.
- High levels of initiative, self-motivation, and adaptability to manage changing expectations or challenges.
- A team player attitude with a willingness to actively discuss your work and ideas within the team.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
