Pay: $50,000 - $55,000

We are seeking a highly motivated Convention Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of convention services, including planning, organizing, and executing events. The Convention Service Manager will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and that events run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and execute events, including conferences, meetings, and trade shows

- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction

- Manage all aspects of convention services, including catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

- Create and manage budgets for events

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure events run smoothly

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees

- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety requirements

- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in convention services or event planning

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software

- Knowledge of legal and safety requirements for events
