Your mission
Qblox is on the lookout for a Test and Certification Engineer to contribute to the development of high-tech control stacks for quantum computers. These control stacks are pivotal in generating the precise analogue signals necessary for the control and readout of quantum bits within quantum computing and networking environments. Operating across frequencies spanning from DC to the microwave regime (up to 18GHz), our signals must exhibit exceptional performance with minimal noise, temperature drift, and interference. As we gear up to scale our systems to
thousands of parallel RF channels, your expertise will play a pivotal role in this expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Laboratory maintenance, resource management and quality control
  • Creation of test plan, implementation and oversight
  • Creation of Test Specifications and Test Methods
  • Creation of a Calibration Plan and Calibration maintenance for the laboratory equipment
  • Performance and reporting of Pre-Compliance and other Safety, Environmental,
  • Electrical, EMC and Reliability Tests
  • Evaluation of test results
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Support achieving full Product Compliance
Your profile
Skill requirements

  • You have a Master or Bachelor degree
  • You have 10+ years’ experience working in test laboratories in an R&D environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Safety, EMC and Electrical tests
  • Experience in calibration of test equipment
  • Ability to document things in a structured way
  • Ability to review and be reviewed in a structured way
  • Your English is at a full professional proficiency level, both spoken and written.
  • You are a highly motivated team player, have a creative “can do” mentality, have a
  • passion for building relationships, are customer focused, communicate effectively with employees & partners from all parts of the world, are organized, are disciplined and eager to keep learning.

Experiences which are a plus

  • Knowledge of Laboratory Quality System (ISO 17025)
  • Familiarity with issue tracking systems, specifically Jira
  • Knowledge of Product Compliance processes
  • Experience working with 3rd party laboratories
  • Experience with reliability tests
  • Experience with creation of new test methods
  • Experience with troubleshooting
