Junior Engineer - PLC/SCADA
As a junior PLC/SCADA engineer, you will work in the automation and control of dredgers and related equipment. You daily job will be coding and testing PLC and SCADA software for monitoring, processing, measuring and controlling systems for dredging components.
The junior PLC/SCADA Engineer will work as part of a project team and be supervised by the Project Manager and the Lead Engineer.
To be eligible for the role of junior PLC/SCADA Engineer, you must have the following:
- MBO technical fulfilled degree with at least 3 years work experience.
- some experience with and/or affinity for measuring and control technology, and process automation.
- some knowledge of and experience with programming and coding PLC’s with the relevant packages, and knowledge of a least one type of SCADA package
- the ability to read electrical drawings
- the idea of working in project teams appeals to you
- good communication skills
- at least English skills and moderate Dutch skills preferable
- only candidates with EU work visa (residents) will be considered as viable candidates.
