Your job as an Operations Coordinator

In this role, you will bridge the gap between the project and the execution at the foreign shipyard where we will build. From the moment of contact with project management until the colleague can start working on site, you are involved in making the deployment possible. After the roles in the site team have been divided, you can get started. Every project brings new context. Good coordination and gaining new knowledge about the conditions that must be taken into account on location is very important. You will immerse yourself in the local conditions in no time so that everything for the trip, the stay and the necessary documents is quickly in order. You continue to monitor project planning and recourses and proactively follow up on changes. You use your social and analytical skills to involve the right people and make choices based on the right information. You have an independent role within an enterprising team. Your traveling team members can count on your help and expertise. Keeping an overview and being able to work in a process- and project-oriented manner is very important in this job.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the project manager's planning and act accordingly for site team coordination
  • Maintain internal contacts and coordinate with the project management department and corporate disciplines like, tax, legal and compliance
  • Act as a link between project requirements and the composition of the local site teams
  • Manage resource planning and allocate personnel according to project needs
  • Handle all local conditions and contract arrangements for site team members
  • Arrange work permits, accommodation, travel schedules, and all related logistics (travel arrangements)
  • Manage the invoicing process related to site team activities

Requirements:

  • You are experienced in working in a complex international organization.
  • Strong social skills and a passion for organizing, coordinating, and problem-solving
  • Ability to maintain an overview and work in a process- and project-oriented manner
  • Experience with resource planning and coordinating international projects is a plus
  • You are a self-starter who can quickly achieve results based on knowledge and network
  • Having these requirements is more important to us than the exact years of work experience

What Royal IHC offers you:
