Role and Responsibilities

Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics (SELS) is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics based in Delft, The Netherlands. SELS functions as a logistics and financial control tower within Samsung Europe, with a focused role in logistics & supply chain strategy, innovation and governance. SELS has approximately 150 employees located in the Netherlands and Slovakia.


The West Operations team governs and develops the logistics operations and distribution networks in Europe (central, local) in cooperation with our logistics service providers (4PL, 3PL).
By translating voice of customer and biz requirements into best practice logistics solutions, Initiating advanced logistics innovation, and secure operations excellence.

We are searching for a new colleague who can be best described as having:

- Strong self-initiative in sensing/defining and developing, new BI Solutions in support of enhanced

process and planning (logistics, biz);

- Understanding of Intelligent Automation Solutions (RPA, SQL, Machine learning, generative AI) for advanced analytics, next-level logistics planning and smart operations;

- Affinity with Logistics operations and Supply Chain management;

Your main responsibilities will include:


As BI expert, you will form the bridge between the Operations and IT department at SELS, through translating ops. biz requirements into effective automation solutions.

  • Identify and develop BI/automation solutions, by gathering and anticipating biz or customer requirements (intern/extern);

  • Streamline process of data collection, reporting and analysis;

  • Based on biz requirements the ability to understand, collect & use the required data;

  • Coordinate projects in order to constantly improve activities and process (work smart);

  • Participate in interdepartmental projects;

  • Manage project milestone planning and execute progress reporting;

As Operations (team) member, you will govern logistics performances and operations developments.

  • Advice and support Samsung Europe subsidiaries with new solutions and opportunities for logistics operations (productivity, efficiency, risk sensing);

  • Govern and optimize operations excellence for central and local distribution networks;

  • Manage performance of logistics partner (4PL,3PL) and initiate corrective actions;

  • Initiate and develop, in close cooperation with our 4PL and 3PL partners, innovative solutions to increase operations service levels and manage costs;

Occasional travel within Europe will be required.

Skills and Qualifications

Who we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate would suit the following profile:

  • Related Bachelor/Master degree;

  • 5~7 years working experience in BI / process automation;

  • Advanced skills in Qlik Sense, Power Bi, SQL, (Machine Learning);

  • Experience with(in) the field of Logistics or Supply Chain management (preferred);

  • Various experience in project management;

  • Strong analytical skills;

  • Proficient in English;

  • Comfortable working across different cultures;

  • Ability to translate complicated requirements into well-defined tasks.
