ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

This role is for the Software Developer (.NET and C#) position in the Bag Drop solution in SITA’s passenger portfolio. You will be a developer in a DevOps team of 5 current developers and 4 testers that are shared with an associated project team.

The BagDrop team enhances the application that guides a passenger to print their bagtag and drop their bags. The application also communicates with the Departure Control System to ensure you drop bags you are eligible for. So there is a mix of application and API development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Contribute quality code to the solution.

• Review your peers code contributions providing valuable feedback.
• Provide input and design ideas in the team’s refinement sessions for new features.
• Continually look for improvements in the team’s and your own process of development through retrospectives.
• Support and maintain the product.
• Write technical documentation for the WIKI and product documentation.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proficient with .NET and C#
• Experienced with writing unit tests
• Proficient with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) with SOAP, REST or gRPC
• Has experience with Git

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Experience working in an Agile DevOps environment
• Experience with Cloud solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, Azure)
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
