Speaksee was inspired by both parents of CoFounder & CEO Jari being deaf. For them and over 150 million people worldwide social exclusion is a daily reality. The mission of Speaksee is to change this to full inclusion forever through the Speaksee Microphone Kit. The Speaksee Microphone Kit is an award winning and world's first device able to live transcribe group conversations. The Microphone Kit is by far outcompeting any other speech to text applications measured for speech recognition accuracy as well as speaker identification accuracy. Even more so when tested during situations with background noise, thanks to the advanced beam forming technology which all the microphones are equipped with. The pricing model is a one-off for the hardware combined with a recurring SaaS licence fee for the transcription usage and firmware updates. This has already lead to changed lives for hundreds of deaf and hard-of-hearing persons after the company finished it's first mass production run and started shipments this year. Before Speaksee a senior was only able to understand what others were saying through a whiteboard and now he can understand 90% of all the conversations again through Speaksee. Another lady was finally able to understand what her grandchildren were saying for the first time in her life. A third working professional indicated that he is now fully independent at work because he doesn't need a palantypist writing interpreter anymore which he needed before. The stories of the impact that the technology makes are countless. These heartwarming stories are accompanied by strong market traction proven by a revenue which has been ramping up in 2022, full product reimbursement approvals from Dutch health insurances as well as the UK government, and large organisations purchasing Speaksee for their employees including Rabobank, KPN (biggest Dutch telecom company), and the Dutch federal government.
