About the role
Superscript is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and impact-oriented Junior Product Manager to help support our ambitious product strategy.
You’ll work at the forefront of our insurtech business to help understand how we can optimise our insurance products for our customers; supporting the growth plans of our scaling business.
What you'll get up to:
Support Senior Product Manager, by being in the detail of each of our online products, knowing how they are performing and why
Work with the data function to develop reporting, allowing the proactive identification of trends
Monitor the impact of changes, and make recommendations around product optimisations
Frequently conduct market research to ensure we are price competitive, quick to respond to changes in the market
Seek out emerging opportunities and trends
Deputise for the Senior Product Manager at Portfolio Steering committee
Work with the technology teams to ensure user stories and requirements are defined ahead of build
Work with design team on UX and customer journey optimisations for new products and add-ons
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure we are cross selling new products were appropriate
About you:
2+ years of experience in a product management role, ideally within insurance
Genuine passion for data to understand customer behaviour and trends
Background in conducting market research and analysis to stay ahead of the curve
Analytical mindset, able to interpret data to drive decision-making and product improvements
Proactive problem solver
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of product management best practices
Able to work cross functionally
Curious attitude and a drive for understanding what is ‘under the hood’
Exposure to data visualisation tools for reporting (we use Tableau)
