About the Role

Do you want to know how deep the rabbit hole goes? The Red Team is your opportunity to discover security from the offensive perspective. Next to the classical pentest activities, you'll be part of larger covert attacker simulations / activities; with the intent to improve the global security posture of the company. Be part of complex projects ensuring the security and compliance of our systems, networks, physical infrastructure, people and information. Contribute to the definition of security procedures/controls/policies, within established guidelines; ensuring they are effective and appropriate for Swift and its customers, and that they are consistent with the company objectives, company reputation and regulatory requirements. Share your knowledge and skills with the other team members as much as you learn from them; help more junior team member grow. Be a good communicant, work with and understand others, while ensuring your messages are clear and concise.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Conduct security testing and security checking of systems and networks ensuring appropriate cyber defense.

• Maintain knowledge of changing technologies in own area of responsibility and provide recommendations for adaptation of technologies or policies.

• Recognize and identify potential areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed.

• Monitor the overall security systems including policies, controls, methods and procedures, that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files and data elements. Notify management about security violations and propose solutions to possible security threats.

• Investigate less complex security cases and propose response procedures. Work with more senior Security Management Specialists to resolve/close security cases.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master degree is an asset as are any red teaming / penetration testing certifications or proven experience

• 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience

• Broad range of technical knowledge / skills

• Good communication skills, both with other team members and external stakeholders

• Information security related certifications and/or independent security researcher activities are an asset

• Ability to think out of the box and come with creative ideas

• Ability to learn and share effectively the gained knowledge around you

• And above all, be a team player

Any combination of the below:

• Deeper understanding of one / several of: Windows internals, RHEL internals, Azure, AWS

• Java development skills

• Experience in red teaming and/or pentesting

• Experience in Mobile (iOS) pentesting
