JOB PURPOSE:

The IC HR Technology Lead will spearhead the new IC organization’s HR technology strategy, overseeing the design, implementation, and management of HR systems to optimize talent management, drive operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for ensuring HR technologies support the business's evolving needs, improve user experience, and enhance HR capabilities through innovative, scalable, and secure solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning & Vision:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR technology roadmap that ensures a smooth separation from Unilever tech environment and aligns with the organization's business strategy and HR goals

  • Work closely with the HR Services , TLO, Payroll & Rewards Lead to ensure seamless systems integrations across all service lanes and HR Tech strategy accounts for Day 0 separation readiness across each of these pillars

  • Act as a thought leader in HR technology, advising leadership on emerging trends, tools, and system upgrades to stay competitive and future-ready.

  • Partner with HR, IT, and other departments to understand business requirements and ensure technology solutions meet those needs effectively.

Systems Implementation & Optimization:

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and management of core HR platforms, such as Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), payroll solutions, and learning management systems.

  • Drive system upgrades and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption and high usability for HR staff and employees.

  • Evaluate and refine technology systems to improve automation, enhance the employee experience, and maximize HR efficiency.

Data Management & Analytics:

  • Put in place robust data migration plan for all Ice Cream people data in time for internal separation

  • Oversee data governance, ensuring that HR systems maintain high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and privacy compliance.

  • Establish robust analytics and reporting capabilities, empowering HR and leadership to make data-driven decisions regarding workforce planning, talent management, and operational improvements.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with external HR technology vendors, negotiating contracts, SLAs, and ensuring high performance and reliability of third-party systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Legal, to align on project goals, security measures, and system requirements.

User Experience & Training:

  • Ensure HR technologies are user-centric, accessible, and provide a seamless experience for employees and HR professionals.

  • Develop and implement training programs and resources to upskill HR staff on technology platforms, ensuring effective adoption and usage.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Work with IT security and compliance teams to establish and maintain HR system security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with HR technology systems, ensuring business continuity and reliability of critical HR processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

SKILLS: & EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 8-12 years of experience in HR technology, HRIS management, or a similar role, with a track record of leading HR system implementations and enhancements. Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proven expertise in HR software platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, data governance, security standards, and privacy regulations.

  • Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile or Lean methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
