Based in Netherlands, Alphen aan den Rijn office or the UK, the Account & Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing customers and prospects in the European region. Travel throughout the region will be required as and when necessary. Your aim is to grow and maintain the commercial results by selling online legal content and solutions to the designated markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Activity

  • Based upon specific KPIs & targets, you will be responsible for the sales strategy and results in your territory on retention and new business sales. You will maximise opportunities using the complete International Group portfolio, including new product launches.


Account Management

  • Create and execute your own sales strategy, analysing different customer types (retention and new business sales), market dynamics, product types and sales approaches.


Market Insights & Customer Feedback

  • Generate market insights and customer feedback to improve the portfolio or create new business opportunities.


Sales Performance Management

  • Use the CRM to manage your sales calls, feedback, contacts and pipeline activity as well as creating proposals, e-mails and presentations for your customers according to company guidelines, KPIs, and targets.
  • Report sales strategy, activity, pipeline management and results from the territory and create strategies to expand the business
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.


Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (qualifications with a legal focus would be of particular interest).
  • 3+ years’ experience as a B2B sales professional
  • Experienced in working with commercial targets and bonus structures;
  • A background within the legal industry preferred
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to succeed autonomously
  • A consultative, solutions-selling approach to sales
  • A love for KPIs and helping customers to achieve success.


Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • The ability to sell complex professional services and to all levels within organisations;
  • Experience working within a multi-division organization with various sales channels;
  • Experience working independently with an entrepreneurial attitude in an international environment;
  • Experience responding to customer inquiries and improve/maintain the relationship;
  • Experience analyzing (CRM) data and identifying ways to improve performance;
  • Experience integrating information from multiple sources;
  • Experience giving presentations to varied audiences using various communication channels;
  • Team player with a focus on creating positive working relationships;
  • Strong communication and customer facing skills;
  • Strong proficiency in CRM software (specifically salesforce.com);
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);


Travel Requirements

Travel throughout the region will be required as and when necessary in additional to occasional international travel to other WK offices & conferences.
