Overview

The International Account Manager for Wolters Kluwer’s Kluwer Law International, part of the Legal & Regulatory division, is responsible for driving new business development in untapped customer accounts. You will generate sales pipelines, qualify opportunities, and sell our products to new accounts across multiple countries, supporting the execution of Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Regulatory sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek new sales opportunities within the assigned territory, spanning multiple countries.
  • Own the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Engage with potential clients through face-to-face meetings, webcasts, or phone calls, fully understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to secure future business.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that maximize profitability.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors within client organizations.
  • Track and analyze sales performance based on key quantitative metrics.
  • Utilize best-in-class sales tools such as Outreach.io, Gong, SalesIntel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more to enhance daily workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce.com, adhering to company policies and expectations.
  • Expand your network of contacts to support business growth.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Proficiency in additional languages is highly preferred.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a new business development role.
    • Strong networking, prospecting, and closing skills.
    • Experience in contract negotiations and influencing business decisions.
    • Ability to manage a territory independently and allocate resources effectively.
    • Demonstrated experience in conveying value propositions to clients.
    • Familiarity with business, financials, products/services, and the market, ideally with expertise in your industry.
    • Strong people skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).


Preferred Skills

  • Experience using Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, and Gong (or comparable tools).
  • Prior experience in SaaS/cloud-based sales environments.
  • A growth mindset with a strong desire to learn, stay current on industry trends, and explore emerging technologies like AI.


Travel Requirements

Domestic and international travel (:10%) for conferences, team meetings, or client visits as needed.
